What is it about Pineapple and Lime? Especially when mixed with the creaminess of Avocado, it feels like if we blink our eyes and open them slowly there’ll be a beach in front of us. (Spoiler: there wasn’t. oh well.)

Regardless…this vacation-reminiscent blend is super yum, satiating, enzyme rich and cleansing. Thick enough to be a meal replacement, you can play with the amount of ingredients and liquids to get the texture and thickness you want! 


Recipe

(in a 64 ounce vitamix: scale down recipe if using a nutribullet):


  • Avocado (1 for creaminess, 2 for super creaminess. We are fans of  creaminess)
  • .25 Fennel head
  • 2 – 3 cups Pineapple (can be frozen)
  • Juice of  2 limes
  • A few big handfuls of any mix of raw leafy greens: kale, swiss chard, spinach, anything! can add in herbs such as basil, mint etc.
  • 4 cups water (or more or less, or other liquid if desired)

  • Blend well and sprinkle with Goji berries (optional, but healthy and so pretty)

    Totally optional boosts:

  • 1 T Aloe (optional, but great for nutrient absorbtion and skin/joint health)
  • Collagen (we are on a collagen craze! Optional, but great for skin, hair, joints)
